Returns Policy

Goods in accordance with the contract cannot be returned without the Company's authorisation.  This must be within 30 days of purchase (This does not include specially obtained non catalogue products). Incorrectly ordered goods must be returned in an as new condition complete with the original manufactures packaging to Chichester Business Centre, Chichester St, Rochdale OL16 2AU at the Buyer's expense and a cancellation/handling charge will normally be made.

Customers are responsible for ensuring products are appropriate for the use and application intended. Although Amtoll Ltd make every effort to ensure the accuracy of specifications, descriptions and images, customers are advised to check the exact specifications prior to ordering where variations may affect intended performance.

Return of faulty goods

If an item proves to be faulty or damaged customers must contact the customer service department on 01706 750031 to arrange either collection or remedial action to be instigated. Goods must be returned in the original packaging complete with any relevant instruction manuals.  Any lost or damaged manuals and packaging is payable by the customer.

Return of special orders

Special order items may not be returned unless damaged or faulty. Special items are those not sold via the Amtoll Ltd website or catalogue and are non-stocked lines.


Returns Policy For Goods Ordered In Error

Stocked lines

Stocked lines can be returned for credit within 14 days of purchase (excluding heavy equipment).  This is subject to them being unused, in a new condition, and the original packaging fully intact.  Goods returned, or collected that do not adhere to the above will be rejected upon receipt and returned accordingly.  Goods ordered in error are subject to a 15% order value charge to cover the cost of restocking and the associated handling /administration costs.

Non stocked lines

Specially obtained, extended lead time products, and non-catalogue products are supplied on a strictly non-returnable basis.

Collection charges

Local collections will normally be collected by our own transport FREE of charge, but for customers who order goods incorrectly outside of the local delivery area are expected to arrange returns through their own means, we can however arrange collection through a third party courier but a standard collection fee of £15.00 (ex vat) will be charged.

Items under warranty


Please refer to details supplied on delivery for information on items covered under a manufacturer’s warranty. Contact Customer Services on 01706 750031 for a collection or on-site inspection to be arranged.

Items not covered by a Commercial warranty cannot be claimed for if used in a commercial environment.

Manufacturers covering the items warranty dictate the service arrangements.  Amtoll Ltd will aim to ensure the procedure is handled quickly but customers must be aware that service may be delayed due to weekends, bank or public holidays and evenings.
